THE LORD OF THE RINGS

The Lord of the Rings is an epic high-fantasy novel written by English author J. R. R. Tolkien. The story began as a sequel to Tolkien's 1937 fantasy novel The Hobbit, but eventually developed into a much larger work. Written in stages between 1937 and 1949, The Lord of the Rings is the second best-selling novel ever written, with over 150 million copies sold.

The title of the novel refers to the story's main antagonist, the Dark Lord Sauron, who had in an earlier age created the One Ring to rule the other Rings of Power as the ultimate weapon in his campaign to conquer and rule all of Middle-earth. From quiet beginnings in the Shire, a hobbit land not unlike the English countryside, the story ranges across Middle-earth, following the course of the War of the Ring through the eyes of its characters, the hobbits Frodo Baggins, Samwise "Sam" Gamgee, Meriadoc "Merry" Brandybuck and Peregrin "Pippin" Took, but also the hobbits' chief allies and travelling companions: the Men Aragorn son of Arathorn, a Ranger of the North, and Boromir, Captain of Gondor; Gimli son of Glóin, a Dwarf warrior; Legolas Greenleaf, an Elvenprince; and Gandalf, a Wizard.

A new visual way of read is expanding in our society like a disease. E-books are creeping their way into our society and life, and how the public reacts to this technology may determine the future of written literature. There are lot opinions that are against or in favor with this new way of read and I consider myself into the in favor group.

First of all, if we started to read with e-book, we could help the environment in the way that the more e-books we use, the less threes they cut. This is a different from to see a book. Is important to bare in mind that thousands of trees are needed to print each of the editions of a book. By contrast, e-books don't need any paper.

Secondly, you can carry it around because it doesn't weigh. It is very comfortable to read anywhere in your leisure time. You can taking it in the bag without taking up much space. On the contrary, carry a book is sometimes more uncomfortable because it takes up more space and usually weigh more.

Finally, you can save as many books as you want in e-books. This is the best advantage that e-books have because you can read whatever book that you want in any moment because you are going to have all your books keeps in the e-book library. We have to face up to this.

To conclude, e-books are certainly on the rise and having a great success. We have to remember that e-readers are very new and developers and are still improving them. If used smartly, e-books could provide a huge help to many. We must aware people about this.

Conclusion of fast food

In conclusion, it is a good choice when you are hungry and you don't have much money, but it is very badly to your organism and in some case it is adictive. It isn't real food, I mean, it doesn't have any natural aliment, they are all treated. We have to be careful about eating too much these kind of food because in extreme cases it could drive you to death.

The purpose of education

When we first think about education the very first things that come to our minds are schools, high schools and universities. But there are so many things related to this word. Education is an art in which one person is mould by the culture, expanding their horizons and adding values to their personality. The purpose of education is basically teach people how to live in harmony by the tool of the culture and knowledge.

Through the process of education we try to grow our children into productive citizens with values and teach them how to use their knowledge to contribute to the word. Everybody have a personality but that personality is in part given to us by the education. Depending on the place, the culture and ways of living in what you grow up you are going to have one or another personality.

The value of education is to ignite the spark that develops creative thinking skills and the value of reasoning for yourself. Education teaches and prepares children and youth to meet the future needs to function in a society not only academically, but emotional, socially, spiritually and economically. Education gives you the power to believe in yourself and the knowledge to feel accepted value and love. Parents are the first educators to developed this confidence and self esteem to believe in education, letting kids know that every child is smart, capable of reaching their dreams and goals. Teachers are the other part this puzzle; they need to believe that every child is teachable and set high expectations for them and for themselves.

However, education is not a finished progress. We are been educated during our hold life. There is always something to learn about. Make mistake is one of the best manner of learn and be educated. When make a mistake and somebody told you how to fixed it, you are learning how to do things well and educating yourself to.

In conclusion, the purpose of education is grow children into productive citizens that use their knowledge, talents, and learned skills to sustain themselves and help others while pushing the human race forward in areas of equality, equity, and harmony. Education is a very important progress of our life and we cannot give it less importance because we are what we are because of education.

Technology

The technology is expanding in our word like a disease and this is not something good for everyone. We have to be aware that nowadays we are surrounded of technology, we have microwaves for heating food, electric tin opener, electric toothbrush... But everyone does not like this, especially older people, which are not accustomed to technology in general they are not agree to have technology in his lives.

As we see it, there are more pros than cons, with technology you can do whatever you want. For example if you want to see your sister who is living in other country so far from you, you see her only doing a simple and instant video-call. Nowadays everybody has in her house a computer and at less one mobile, something that is becoming necessary and customary to have and that is not bad because having a computer is always a good help for looking information, study or do works.

If we are honest, the adolescent people can not live without a mobile phone or a computer and this is a problem because it has become a necessity. When we go out with friends and everybody is using his mobile is something very annoying because you talk to them and they don't listen you because they are with the mobile. We are more close to the people that are far than the people that is next to you.

Moreover the technology helps to changed the world. Because of the technology we can watch a baby who is into a woman belly, we can see the space in photos and videos that were taken by drones, we can be communicated with all the word in every moment, and many more advances that technology has helped us to improve aand world and our way to see the life.

All in all we must to be aware that we are completely surrounded of technology and is a fact that we need it more than anything else. Maybe twenty years later the technology increase and created items that nowadays we can't even imagine, and we have to be prepared for this.

November is my favourite month of the year. Is the month when the cold begin, when you start to wear sweaters, jumpers, scarves, boots, wool hats... that I love. Moreover it is also my favourite month because it is my birthday month. I am so happy when november start, it is more important than december or august, more special than christmas and summer because is my month. November is also important for me because I fell in love five november ago. Maybe november is not the preferred month for the normal people who opt for spring or summer, but for me november has an important meaning and this are the reasons because it is my favourite month.

MY OPINION ABOUT ALABAMA MONROE:

Yesterday I watched a very interesting film called "Alabama monroe".This film is a really sad movie. The film tells the story of a couple, he is a country singer and she is a tattoo artist.They had a daughter with cancer who finally die. The film started at the middle of the story when the doctor detect that her daughter has cancer. The film has a lot of flashbacks that tell us how the couple are met before have had her daughter. I recomend this film to everybody because it tells something real that is happend in all over the word.

PROBLEM AND SOLUTION

OBESITY:

Nowadays there are so many obese people. This is a problem because it affects people's health in a big way. There are so many people that die because they are too fat. It is caused by a bad diet and because of having a sedentary life.

Solution by Riki:

Actually there are a lot of remedies to fight the obesity such as: nutritionist, natural food low of fats, pills, etc. But, in my opinion, people in our century are getting more active than they was in the past. There are a lot of people going to the gum, running or playing many kind of health activities. My solution to this problem is doing some sport and don't eat fast food. 

My opinion about the solution: I like his answer but I would really apreciate some more solutions than opinions but in general it's ok.

COMPARING AND CONTRASTING

Although this two groups compose music, their styles are very different.One play punkie whereas another play classical music. Punkie is more focused to young people while we tend to see classical music more for older people, but everybody of every age could like it. Another difference is the staging, is not the same go to a Sex Pistol concert than an orchest concert. In conclusion we could see these two groups as an art, the created art in many different ways but, at leats, it cause the same feelings in people that like them.

In this video we can see a man that have enter in a hotel to stay in a room. But he has another purpose, jump from the roof. He seems to have many problems like he has breaked up with his girlfriend and he also has been fired from his job.

In the end he is about to jump when his girlfriend appears. She has see in the news that he was going to jump and she is still in love with him so she goes to save him but is too late when she came so he finally die and she, that was pregnant, lost the baby and enter in a non endind depresion for the rest of her life. 

Apple vs Microsoft

Whereas both are computers sistems and create the same technical devices, they have so many differences. First of all, the operative sistems are so diferent, the way that they work and the programs that you can use with it are not the same. You could use one program in an apple computers whereas in a microsoft one not. Another difference is that while microsoft devices can have virus, apple's cannot. When we talk about computer I prefer microsoft, but when we talk about movil phones i absolutely prefer apple because is very confortable to use them comparing with microsoft's.

MY MOMMY:

My mom is one of the most hard-working person I know. She works as an auxiliary nurse and is studying to become a nurse at the university. She don’t have much time to relax because she have to study, cook, do the wash and go to work at the same time. However she always has a big smile for my sister and I and that is so pleasant. I tried to help her in all that I can but I don’t have so much time. I am so proud for having her by my side everyday giving me the strong and the love that I need.

When I look at Guernica gives me anxiety because of the disorder. It transmits the sensation of caos, war, death, desperation and sadness. When you look at it you could see how the artist feel when he was painting it, maybe he was worried about something or his life wasn't sogood at that moment. WRITING TECHNIQUES

When  we are ready to write, we have to decide what we are going to write about. The process of thinking the topic, planing and organiced what we are going to write is called "pre-writing".

Brainstorming: We write in a paper everything that comes to our minds refering to the topic we are going to talk about. It is like many ideas raining from our minds to the paper  if the ideas are good or not.

Making a list: We can also make a list doing sentences with words that are connected with the topic.

Freewriting: With this method we write whatever comes into our head about our topic, without stopping.

Mapping: Make a map with the topic in the middle and creating ideas in circles around it. This method give you lots of ideas that you can use in your essay.

For me the best method of organiced your ideas in order to write is mapping. It is a good way of think about new ideas and what are you going to talk in the essay.

I think the most important thing that best defines me is music, I love music because it make me feel so special.
